Hey community,
This weekend, Literary Craft Society is showing up at the 14th Annual New York City Poetry Festival and we’d love for you to come through.
Co-founded by me, Neva, and Zoha, Literary Craft Society exists to amplify the voices often ignored and silenced and this weekend, we’re proud to sponsor and feature two powerful books from the Unbannable Library project — a community effort to resist censorship with art, truth, and oversized storytelling.
You’ll find us there all weekend, and Neva will be in attendance, repping LCS and holding space for conversation and connection.
Make sure to get your tickets HERE - the event is free to attend.
July 12 + 13, 2025
Nolan Park, Governors Island
11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Free to attend (just the ferry fare!)
*look for the LCS table.

These works are part of the Unbannable Library — a traveling exhibition of larger-than-life interactive book sculptures that fight back against censorship with collaboration, art, and truth-telling. Led by artist and educator Paul Collins, the Unbannable Library creates space for voices too bold, too honest, and too necessary to be silenced.

While we’ve been quiet, Literary Craft Society has been working behind the scenes building something extraordinary that we can’t wait to share. We’re in the process of launching our very own Substack newsletter, where you’ll be able to stay connected, support the work, and even become a member of the LCS community.
More details on that soon!

Whether you’re coming for the poetry, the people, or just a deep breath of creative resistance, we hope to see you there.
So come say hi, browse the books, soak in the art, and remind yourself: words still matter.
with love
