This month, we are giving our nervous systems some good loving.
Nourishing and tending to ourselves right now is more powerful than you may think. In a society that glorifies self-care and, at the same time, makes us feel shame for needing it, actually doing it—actually caring for ourselves—is an act of rebellion. And for those of us with swelling hearts, holding so many emotions at once, we need to remind ourselves that to sustain the fight, to live full and abundant lives, to show up for one another, we must take care of ourselves.
There are so many ways we can do this. This month, we are pushing against fear, chaos, and distractions by learning how to nourish our nervous system.
